Salman Khan’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo has been on a a record breaking spree ever since it’s start The film has been quite steady over the first week and now is headed to have a great second weekend too. According to early estimates, the film collected 5 crores on it’s second Friday and 6.5 crores on it’s second Saturday. It now stands with a total collection of 184.32 crores at the domestic box office.
The Sooraj Barjatya family drama, did not have much competition since only one Bollywood film released this week. It was only the Hollywood film Spectre which was expected to put up a stiff fight. The Salman Khan film has now crossed the 180 crore mark and will soon make it to the 200 crore club.
Considering that the film has slowed down a little now, it seems unlikely for it to beat Salman’s highest grosser of the year, Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
